I am thinking about buying this asset and downloaded the demo. Almost everything works as expected but at some point I wasn’t able to destroy some chunks. The highlight box thingy was gone and the grenades did nothing… Is that a bug or is there a limit of something?
We’re not aware of that bug in current version (the demo was built a long time ago with a previous version, unsure if that could be the reason).

Curved world and HQ Forest demos have been updated to latest version.
I encountered a bug and i dont know how to fix it.
Sometimes the Environment creates multiple chunks at the same position and the modifications arent visible anymore.

Im using the latest version but i loaded a old scene. Can i fix this scene?

Hey I was looking into if this system could handle voxels of a smaller size, and I found this in the docs
It suggests making everything larger instead, I’m wondering if anyone has any images, videos or demos of this?
Does it actually look okay or does it all “feel wrong”?
I’m hoping for voxels of scale 0.1, 0.1, 0.1, instead of 1, 1, 1,
So this would mean scaling everything in the world up 10x

Currently smaller voxels are not supported in general. It would increase the requirements massively. Voxel space is 1x1x1. You can use custom voxels which use any prefab shape at any number of positions intended for decoration, items, buildings, etc. but not for terrain or massive usage.
Yep i saw that small voxels aren’t supported. The linked documentation said:
“If you need smaller voxels for terrain, an alternative is to make anything else bigger! Make your character/NPCs/items use a greater scale and adjust the camera distance appropriately. The effect, like in cinema, will be that terrain voxels look smaller.”
I’m just wondering if anyone has actually done this and what it would look like. If it’s a real solution or if it’s more of a bandaid fix.

Can this asset be integrated with the Game Creator 2 full line and cozy Weather? I see this has weather and inventory and controllers in it
Hi,
Voxel Play 2 comes with extra sample components like inventory, console and character controllers. These components are optional and can be customized or replaced by other systems.
The voxel engine can work without these sample components which are used on the demo scenes for illustration purposes of an interactive voxel world.
