I have problems like this every time I make a new Unity project and I’m quite tired of it. I tried everything the internet suggested - recreating the .csproj files, making assemblies and assembly references, reimporting the TMPro package, nothing works. The same thing happened to me before with different modules like UinityEngine.UI and the one for the input system. Any ideas on what I can do?
Use Visual Studio or Rider instead of VSCode. Much easier to configure to work with Unity.
Isn’t the answer that you are looking for and I really hope you find some kind of definite solution for it, but my suggestion is: Change to something else, I also tried VS code for a long period, and sometimes it just works but some times it breaks things for no “visible” reason, then I also got tired of it and changed. I don’t remember the last time that I got some of those silly errors. I’m using Rider but I believe that you will have a smooth experience using VS community, if you decide to keep in VS code, good luck, and sorry again for does not have the answer that you’re looking for
