I’m using Vuforia for recognizing playing cards. I’ve gotten it to see face cards, but it cannot see any of the other cards. I’m assuming that’s because the face cards have a lot of details, and there aren’t enough details or points of comparison in the 2-10 and Ace.
Has anyone gotten vuforia (or anything else) to recognize all the cards in a deck? Could I just need better textures?
hey, are you getting good rating for you images in the vuforia database?
I’m not using the DB. I’m doing direct image. I had tried the DB a while ago, and tried it again this time but the images were not being accepted on the site that makes the DB due to size or format errors, in spite of me ensuring they were 300 pixel png. So, I went with just using the Image comparison.
Doesn’t look like playing cards are a good item to watch for. I haven’t heard of anyone having luck with them.
