vuforia not available on asset store?

I searched on the asset store for vuforia but I couldn’t find anything.
I have used vuforia before on this computer so it should be in the list of my downloaded assets but it’s gone from there aswell.

Is there another way to get vuforia for android again? I tried the vuforia developer site but their installer gave me an error.

EDIT:

I found out that the installer doesn’t work in Windows 8, but it works if you run it in Windows 7 mode.

Still can’t find vuforia on the asset store tho.

I have the same problem, moreover I downloaded the Unity extention from Vuforia web site but the installer doesn’t work on my iMac with OS X 10.6.8.

Finally I’ve solved the problem:

On Mac Terminal i’ve run these two commands:

  • $chmod +x [/your/path/to/vuforia-unity-android-ios-2-0-30.app]
  • $chmod +x [/your/path/to/vuforia-unity-android-ios-2-0-30.app]/Contents/MacOS/vuforia-unity-android-ios-2-0-30

(replace the […] part with your path).

I don’t know exactly which of the two did the trick because I did both of them before trying to launch the installer again…just give them a try and let me know. :wink:

NOTE: The download link from the Vuforia website did not work for me via Firefox or Chrome/Chromium.

However it DID work on IE.
