W-8BEN-I not working

Hello everyone,

just now I tried to fill out the Tax Payout Info under my Unity account. I was already at the last step and had only to press "Submit W-8BEN-I) but always red errors occured.

  • I checked all boxes
  • my Unity e-mail is correct
  • and I obviously know how to write my own name

Did anyone encounter similar problems? Rechecking and refilling the boxes did not work either even though all information is correct…

Problem solved. I am even more stupid than I wanted to admit… wrong e-mail

I have the same problem, but I checked everything and the name and email are the same as in the account, the form still does not submit. Was it really difficult to make them a specific error, not a general list of possible problems, be highlighted?

support says that they can’t do anything and clearly doesn’t want to understand, they advised me to send the completed form to taxinquiry@unity3d.com = we sent it and there is no answer for the second month!
