Wall Help Needed

So…I am making walls for my roguelike…and I realized; the tutorial does not do veritcle walls…But no dungone feels right if it is just one big room, so I need horizontal, and verticle walls.

If I take the wall skin for horizontal walls and roll it to verticle, and save it…will it stay verticle?

Not sure what you mean by ‘skin’ but you can rotate any game object? :slight_smile:

If I take a wall tile, label it ‘Wall1’, and set it horizontal, then put it in assets, it will stay horizontal?
If I then label a wall tile ‘Wall2’, use the same sprite as ‘Wall1’, but rotate it sideways (so it is verticle), then put it in the assets…will it be verticle when pulled by the game?

I see what you’re saying now. If you’re keeping both game objects unrotated, I guess you’d have to copy the image (1 is rotated and 1 is not). If you don’t mind that the game object is rotated, then ya you can save different prefabs or whatever. hopefully that’s somewhat clear :slight_smile:

A bit. I may just edit the sprite I am using in Paint to be sideways and save it seperately. Be doubly sure.
