Wanna see a simple, fun and orginal concept?

This game is so simple but an awesome multilayer concept. I figured I’d post it up as it might give others some ideas.

edit…

I have nothing to do with the game, I just thought it was a really smart and simple concept that others might want to check out.

Not only is that really quite brilliant, but it inspires a lot of different game ideas based around different game mechanics, etc.

Thanks!

It just looks like a bunch of visual noise, with graphics flapping about wildly. Is there a game in here somewhere? How would I go about playing it?

Multiplayer lemmings?

Exactly. Once you get past the compound of small, jittery mice you actually start having fun. It all depends on the GMs you get. It really grows on you.

Yea there is a game in there…

You make a name then log-in. You play the roll of a mouse with many other players. The game is based around using physics and you have to work with all the other mice in order to get the cheese.

Adding to this you have what is called “Shamans” which are mice that are supposed to help all the others. (these are selected randomly from all the players each round)

The Shaman has the option to try and help all the mice get their cheese or sabotage them. Added to this there are sometimes 2 Shaman whom are competing against each other.

They can choose to work together or try to kill each other.

On top of this all the little mice are competing with each other trying to be the first back to their hole with the cheese. Yet at the same time they often have to work with each other to get the cheese.

It’s really a simple but awesome game that can provide a lot of fun. The best thing is I’ve never seen a game like it before so as far as I know it’s a totally original concept which is very rare these days.

Here are a few vids from youtube about the game…

btw, I must admit I’ve never played a game that provided me with so many laughs before…
