Wanna share some organic ghosty picture (492458)

Hi,there.
Organic character asset creation was always a mystery and “to be impossible” thing to me.Never mind,uv mapping,graphics pipelines,texturing were also seemed to be impossible to do for me once;).I defeated them at satisfaction level(as of now).Yesterday I was thinking that I can defeat “organic modeling” too if I try sufficiently.I tried and tried.At last I ended up with the following picture.


How is that? If you guys suggest me some good point I will be very happy:p.

The picture refers to a environmental asset.Assume that you look onto a haunted house.At entrance to house,there is a gate.Besides the gate,there are two statue.Both statues are directing you towards the house by their hands.And both of them are looking towards you as like seen in the picture.I hope you got the idea:p. If you’re going for a surreal, ghostly face, then its not bad.

There are some things happening in this face that don’t make sense, even in a stylized, surreal sense. For instance, his mouth is stretched, but somehow he still has some kind of protrusion at the back of his cheeks. There are no muscles there, so that shouldn’t be happening.

Find some reference pictures. Copy them. Then copy them again.

About “protrusion at the back of his cheeks”,did you mean the muscle of red marked area of this picture?

Yes, that’s better, but there are still lumps along the jawline that shouldn’t be there. The jawline should be a relatively smooth line, with the only real muscle protrusion being where the jaw connects to the skull.
