Want to make custom cloth physics, dont know where to start

For my new project, I require something close to cloth physics, which is why I cant use the unity cloth component, since I cant customize it to do what I want, for the sake of this query, lets just put it this way - I wanna make cloth physics
I dont want to make anything complex, no colliders, no complex meshes, just want it to work on a plane mesh
If you are wondering, I know procedural mesh generation, which I’m pretty sure cloth simulation would require
It would be great if someone could guide me in the right direction, feel free to put external links to tutorials if you know any since I could not find any :frowning:
