Our goal is creation of AAA looking sci-fi first person shooter which would run in a browser.
Planned features:
Large amount of players in one room (we are aiming at 64)
Multiple sci-fi weapons and equipment (rocket launchers; flamethrowers; plasma guns; turrets and many more)
Multiple game modes
Multiple maps (locations: space; alien planets; earth)
PvP and PvE
Beta version link will be published on FB so if you want to play the game be sure to follow us at Redirecting...
All the models look great. I think you should change the way the gun moves when the person moves… It seems unnatural. Like when rotating have an algorithm that moves the gun a little bit too. Almost like the way COD of Battlefield or any other FPS gun moves.
Space Station Dynamic Global Illumination Presentation (don’t forget to change quality to HD):
This video contains progress on the Space Station map, as well as a presentation on Dynamic Global Illumination used in WarLand. An exclusive next-gen lighting effect where lighting bounces off surfaces all in real time.

Update: new assault rifle model; giant asteroids fly around dynamically affecting lighting and global illumination; large scale/efficient multiplayer system implementation:
The only thing I wasn’t fond of was the hardness of the shadows of the asteroids as it seems a bit unnatural. Other than that it looks like a well crafted map. Keep up the great work!
Looks fantastic! I know I’d be killed a few dozen times just for stopping to look at a drifting asteroid. I agree with 90Degree on the shadows, and it sounds like there’s a seam in the ambient noise loop. Otherwise a very cool level - can’t wait to play!
The blood splatter looks pretty cool, likewise do all the rendering effects you have implemented!
I’m personally not the biggest fan of the level however. The textures seem to be rather randomly applied and don’t really work well together. The demo level also doesn’t apply all the nice effects to their fullest extent, as it is mostly gray in gray.
What are the minimum system specs like? Do I need a nasa pc to run this?
And how is your netcode comming along? A little info on the gameplay would be nice.
Hey. Minimum requirements shouldn’t be too high, the game is very optimized and we are still working to improve it further. My PC is just a bit above medium end and I get an average of 90-120 fps with all the settings maxed out. My Acer laptop can run it at a very playable speed if the graphics settings are lowered.
The networking is pretty much ready for beta, we have yet to test it a large amount of real players though. We will eventually be doing a pre alpha test with the Unity community. There is a new video update coming soon with all the latest updates on the gameplay elements and technology. The video will also contain a 1v1 deathmatch.
