Warlord Demo

Hey community,

I just wanted to give you guys a look at our new game called, Warlord.

This is an early demo so please be easy but your comments would be greatly appreciated.

Warlord is a 3d physics game (think angry birds in 3d).where you use your cannon to “overtake” a city by destroying the buildings within it.

We are launching on all idevices with hopes of online Multi-player through Game Center as well as various in-app purchases.

We are also hope for multiple campaigns including medieval, space, and toy-land.

DEMOLITION WARLORD

the first 25 levels are set in place. Try to get get Gold medals on all of them!!!

Game play is simple, just click where you want your cannon ball to go (hold for power up). Use your arrow keys to rotate the camera around to get a better position.

Tip: The bottom blocks are heavier then the top blocks, aim for middle/top of structures to gain maximum destruction.

Nice Here are some things right off.

Love the fact you get combos if you keep shooting.

Its really hard to see the power meter, and maybe reposition it so you arent always looking in the lower right corner.

After you run outta ammo, nothing happens…I’d like a pat on the back or someting :wink:

Otherwise its pretty cool.

Yeah the UI right now is just placeholder for now. Hopefully we will get a for sure UI soon. Thanks for the comments.

That was good fun actually! I’d like more ammo though and an actual cross-hair rather than the standard mouse pointer if possible.

Quite nice start, and definetly the UI needs work

Outside of the obvious things, I thought the storing seemed arbitrary or at least strange. Once I had 192,000 points, then thought I did reasonably well and only had about 50,000 points.

One piece was suspended in the air, but it didn’t actually have anything below it. If I weren’t so lazy, there would be a screenshot.

I wish you had a picture of 192,000 that is insanely impressive. My highest score was 23,600.

Hey I like your game! I have been playing around with mouse press duration = power and have figured out a decent sys but I appreciate your powerbar display wheel. Did you implement with GUI or an alpha system or something?
