I upgraded from Unity 4 to 5. I tried to export my Unity iOS project, and I got the:
Warning
Build folder already exists and was created with other Unity iPhone version or for different target device setting. Would you like to replace it?
Then the only options are to Enable replace, then Replace. I could not Append.
Before you go! I understand this is desirable behavior. BUT, I did make a brand new iOS project (twice), and I still cannot append that brand new Unity 5 project. This is very irritating because I have a bunch of custom stuff in my XCode project. Currently, I am forced to generate a new one and then manually replace the Libraries, Classes, and Data folders. Super weak, especially when I’m doing quick iterations.
I’m about to just put some symlinks in my XCode project to a new project that I can keep replacing, but that’s super stupid.
Please fix this bug.
