WASD movement in scene view is choppy

When I try to navigate the scene view with right click + WASD, the movement is extremely choppy whenever I press a key. However, moving with arrow keys is really smooth. It’s not a performance issue because I get 2000FPS in the Game view. I also have reduced the default quality mode to see if that changed anything. It didn’t.

Any advice?

Finally, after months of struggling with the same problem, I found the solution! On the top of scene view there are those icons of ‘sun’ and ‘image’; just tick everything active and WSAD is back to smooth.
