In the 2 screen shots, I have not moved any closer to the land, I have just moved the camera direction. This causes the reflection to change between the ideal one with fog taken into account and the second one with no fog.
it seems to be a bug from the reflection camera. For reflections, it is used an script to create a camera that renders the scene and then it’s projected into a texture. It happens to me with flatmirror from the unitywiki. And i don´t know how to solve it. It started to happend when I updated unity3d to 4.
Were you able to figure out a fix for this? I have similar issues that depending on which angle the camera sits a majority of my realistic reflections go away, its very annoying ><
I also see reflection problems with daytime water pro. Reflections of objects are sometimes there, but vanish by just moving the camera around a little bit. I’m using Unity 4.3 for Wii U. If this is fixed in a newer version of Unity then I won’t worry about it now, but if there is a solution available in 4.3 then that would be great.
You have to sign up with Nintendo, but I highly doubt they are doing so for anything but their current devices. Current versions of Unity no longer have Wii U support either.
