Water3 Refraction and Edge Blending Problems

Water3 has a few problems which make it unusable in a professional project right now.

First - there is the inverted refraction problem.
there is a temporal fix for that, but activating post effects like bloom and flares or even antialiasing seem to bring the problem back.

Second - edge blending and depth do not work properly on macs (the fading gradiant get’s choppy and the blending on the shores are also not drawn correctly)
this effect is also noticeable on lower gpu’s like a ati mobility

This is a cry for help - i know water3 is making problems for a lot of you guys out there, but no one seems to rise up and demand fixes for us pro developers, that pay a lot of money for a broken product.

as a pro you have those 3 options:
water pro, ugly with no edge/depth blending, wavecaps and displacement
water3, broken refraction, edge/depth blending not working reliable on all platforms
water4, missing depth blending, broken reflections

Have you filed bug reports for these issues? Be sure to include an example scene and screen shots so they can reproduce the issues.
