Water4 Scaling

Hey guys, okay, Water3 I could scale it as big as I wanted as long as I didn’t change Y.
Well when I use Water4 to Scale it as big as I need to. The waves height dont change (Like I’d expect as I didn’t scale the Y at all). But now they are just stretched out far and wide and can’t even tell they are waves, looks more like crap water worse than Basic water.
Is there anyway at all to use Water 4 and scaling it to surround my Island?

I’ve tried adjust Wave Frequencies and Amplitude, etc. It still doesn’t make them smaller, just changes how often it does wave or whatever.

I’ve tried looking into this for about a week now every day, and can’t really find anything more than just doing what I already mentioned above (Don’t change the Y - I don’t) then changing the Frequencies and Amplitude, well it’s not helping anything.

Do I need to import like a 2 million polygon water plane and use that? That seems practically worthless. Why would they expect you to have an ocean with an island 50 by 50 meters if even that. Certainly I’m not suppose to copy paste 4000 of these tiles for the water am I?

Just going through this now. I found scaling the water object to cover the area, then going through parameters on the script inside one of the Tiles within the preset worked.

I changed the parameters Animation Tiling (Displacement), Wave Amplitude, Wave Frequency to a tenth of their originals and got a good scale on my 8km square terrain. Just modifying them from there to get a nice look.

Don
have a great day
