I have been struggling to get a see-thru water in my game and I finally was able to get it with the Water4Advanced Prefab but by scaling my game objects up in size… sounds wierd right… well it was and now things take for ever to save (not sure why exactly)
1 it does not allow me to bring the tile so close to the shallow stream because the refractions disappear below the stream geometry.
2 in order to have the refractions on the proper placement of the stream the water tile is floating well above the ground (in mid air.)
Well scaling everything up (and the preFab down a bit) fixed that but now I have this issue where the scale increase has bogged down my system to where it hangs up on saves to the point of crashes and if it does manage to save it takes for ever.
So I need to change the scale if these accursed refractions that are linked to the Water4AdvancedReflectionsSceneCamera which is frozen and can not be moved.
So maybe it’s reflections that I am referring to but it’s under water and I thought that was refractions ![]()
I’m not the only one who needs to scale this to get it working :Questions in topic: "water4"
I too would like to change these settings he mentions and I have had similar luck as him.
