Way of making a decal texture multiply over the texture its on.

Very new to unity and working on a cave scene for a game test with wall painting littered about. I have no problems rendering them as decals but they act as flat diffuse plates and don’t take into account the rough surface behind them.

I’m coming to unity from Unreal where I’d normally make the top shader a multiply and have it react with the bottom one much like a Photoshop layer.

I’m wondering what’s the best way to go about implementing this?

Cheers in advance!

Multiply, linear dodge, and screen are doable, along with standard alpha blending, or premultiplied alpha blending + additive.
