I noticed you can move the slider if selected when you press the A and D keys. Is there a way to disable this? As it is kinda annoying…
While I’m at it, why is it that my UI’s resize themselves on my canvas even when I’m not playing the game. Like, it messes up where I wanted them to be positioned. I have them set to scale and the canvas is set to that too. But it’s so strange, I feel this is a bug. The UI elements shift upwards and then I have to reposition them on the canvas again…
set the “Navigation” to none seems to do the trick.

Thanks Lefty! Well, I’m not sure how to explain this other issue. Basically though, occasionally I notice my elements on the canvas are shifted to a different position than before. Usually happens after I test the game. Could you provide any detail on why this might be happening?
I know this is super necro, but this post comes up in searches for this problem and is still unanswered, so i’ll answer.
In Play Mode, there’s a Screen Resolution drop-down.
In it, select a resolution.
“Free Aspect” is what’s screwing up your canvases.
There’s a way to make them which is not affected by Free Aspect, but that’s another story.
I’m not here for this, i’m here about that slider issue.

…whoever thought a feature that lets a slider move when not even visible, in focus or even clicked needs to be fired from their job.
