we tried to let this community know that we are a game distributor but with the childish we assure you we will never release a unity title that’s why we kept our company’s name out of this we do not need Unity
Ok thank you, goodbye.
Edit: Hehehe you said Tittles .
*Cough
If you had an action plan, didn’t hand out Gmail addresses. Showed and talked through some of the intricate terms and details, had proof in the slightest you had qualities to invest in. Even offered a Skype presentation, gone to some extents to give trust then I’m sure people would of followed along.
If were to hand over our games and you’re going to take a share of our profits you need to be at the top of your game, not a guy who jumps on a forums and says hey guys I want to distribute your games without anything to back up your credentials. It doesn’t work like that, I’m not surprised in the slightest people approached it with caution and suspicion.
Even covering the sheer basics like spelling and grammar would help, how hard is it to paragraphs through MS word or Open office when you’re trying to sell a product?
Well okay. Good luck with what ever you do next.
Shame, I was really enjoying the other thread, brightened up my Monday morning
Ok, but I hope you realize the phrase ‘cutting your nose off despite your face’ applies here. There are other outlets for everyone here and from what I’ve read on your previous posts, this whole thing came off in a terrible approach. Anyways, good luck with where ever you head next.
Best of luck.
Not sure what playmaker has to do with anything…
Yet another reason for none of us to take you seriously. Nobody in their right minds would deny publishing to all games made with one of the most popular engines because a few people on the forums pointed out what you did/are doing wrong.
Can I have your stuff?
As a publisher you must already be extremely successful if you have the luxury to drop out everyone who is using a certain development tool. For a new or small publisher that would likely not be possible to avoid lots of indies who are using a particular tool, so you are obviously already pretty established before you even started.
That’s really a professional move, congratulations for that decision.[/SARCASM]
Maybe it’s for the better.
If you had carefully asked whether there’s interest in the general idea and then followed up with something concrete, I’m sure the response would have been different. But it sounded like you already wanted customers – for a vague idea.
Furthermore you did not come off like someone with any experience or qualification. Your communication skills appear lacking and you rage quit after getting a few negative responses. We had no information about why you think you’re capable of doing this or even what your vision is (beyond somehow selling indie games on 1. October, that is).
This would be the final nail to the coffin. Asking people to trust their livelihoods on your communication and marketing skills (especially in hindsight of the traits you’ve just revealed).
Well… there goes 50%+ of your potential customers…
This will spiral equally out of control…don’t fight it…shhhh closes thread
