Web Player Concerns - Part II

I think it would be helpful if was a ‘Trouble-Shooting’ section for people that encounter problems installing or running the web player.

A while ago I had problems getting it running on Windows Vista in both FF and IE as I recall. For IE, the problem was related to the browser running in ‘Protected Mode’. I spent quite a while in the ‘Security’ section trying to figure out why it wouldn’t work.

I can’t recall if I ever got it running on FF.

My apologies if I’ve missed a help section on this topic, but I just don’t see anything related to ‘Help’ where the player is downloaded here:

I know that it is supposed to ‘just work’, but that’s not always that case, and it would be unfortunate if potential users were turned away in frustration due to typical install problems and a lack of info provided.

Where is “web player concerns - part i”? :slight_smile:

We’ve considered something along those lines but haven’t yet fleshed out any firm plans around some dedicated web player related pages on our site.

That link takes me to the Support forum in general (forums are linked with f=someNumber) and not a specific thread (threads are linked with t=someNumber). I’ll keep looking on my own. :slight_smile:

Edit: and it seems that Part I is an old thread I’m already participating in. So nevermind! :slight_smile:
