Web Player Error

I have tried and tried to get the web player installed tried it through IE, Google Chrome, and Safari nothing will work and don’t say run as admin I have all of that disabled. Here is what it says.

Failed to update Unity Web player and then it has Error Details and Install Manually when I click on Error Details it says

A new version of Unity Web Player(mono) is required, but the auto-update failed. Invalid auto-update file format. Please install manually.

I have tried to install manually and nothing works.

sure that you don’t have security software that fucks up the installer

Yeah I have Trend Micro I disabled it and it installed correctly and is working. Thanks for help I forgot about my Virus protection.

Trend Micro tends to hate the unity webplayer indeed but various unity users and I think UT themself are on it to get Trend micro to remove the false positive / enforced wrong handling
