On itch.io it is. If it breaks on you, do please report back on what you’ve been doing so I can then sloppily McGyver a fix.

If you’d like to capture some video, by all means go right ahead, I can always use that.

Features so far

  • Vaguely consistent fighting engine with hitstun, blockstun, impact freeze, combos, round counting and actual, honest-to-hell blocking animations
  • Bindable keys
  • One whole character!
  • Sound! Courtesy of two blokes swinging and stick and dropping a sack on the ground.
  • Tunes composed by yours truly
  • Character select screen, if you can call it that. Also winquotes. Everybody loves winquotes.
  • Look, I’m just not very good at feature lists

Skipped a couple of updates, but the game’s far from dead.

Changelog is:

  • Brand new sprite and text animation system for fancy screen things
  • New animated menu system and the new animated menus that go with it
  • Fighting engine fixes and tweaks
  • I’m almost certainly forgetting something

Liking the art style so far, especially the title graphics. Look forward to seeing where this goes!

I won’t comment on the animations - I think you summed them up best on the web player page :wink:
