Hi!
I’m using Manjaro (Arch based) and having troubles with WebGL export, because it assumes that ‘python’ command is pointed to ‘python2’. But in Arch ‘python’ command is pointing to ‘python3’.
So here are the steps:
- from unity folder (root unity-editor) run ‘ln -s /bin/python2 python’
- create bash script in unity folder with following contents:
export PATH=/full/path/to/unity-editor/:$PATH
./Editor/Unity - if you have Unity item in menu, you will need to point it to this script and add working directory for it, pointing to where this script is actually located (root unity-editor folder)
dunno if it may cause any additional issues, but it works fine for now.
P.S. why doesn’t unity move to python 3 or at least change its inner command from ‘python’ to ‘python2’?
