WebGL TMPro Inputfield Issues

I have seen the same issues in past version but in Unity 6 none of them solve the problem.
I have an app with input fields that I have exported to WebGL. I cannot select any text or move the carret position to anywhere in the text. I have tried both input systems like others suggested but this doesnt work. Everything works as it should in a windows build and in the editor. Also works with the legacy inputfield just fine
