Webplayer GI

GI doesn’t work in webplayer. Will you fix it in near future guys, how soon?

Well, there is no bug, i mean we just built standalone version and it works (GI) but when we open web build (firefox,chrome.ie) there is no GI (no errors, just no GI :slight_smile: )

Try youself to build any scene with GI and port it to the web

Same thing here. Realtime GI does not work in web player very well. Static objects work fine for me… but non-static objects/light probes, totally messed up. In webGL it’s even worse!

Either it’s a ‘bug’ and there’s something to ‘fix’, or it’s not a bug and there’s nothing to ‘fix’. If you think this is not the intended behavior, then it’s a bug and you should log a bug report. Preferably with a sample that shows off the bad behavior in a simple way. That’s the fastest way to get it fixed.

Well i think unity guys know very well this problem (GI one of the main thing in unity5), so my answer was how soon they plan to fix it? Any Unity engineers here? guys?

If you don’t report the bug, then you don’t know if they know about it. Report the bug.

Hi! Static GI should work just fine but dynamic GI isn’t enabled yet for both Webplayer and WebGL. We are aware of this and it is on our TODO list.
