I have a couple of questions about the Player. Yes I know Windows and other software platforms are removing it and going with WEBGL.
So does the WebPlayer still work using IE versions 11.0.100, 11.0.120, 11.0.130? Does it matter if I use the latest version of the WebPlayer for the different versions of IE.? I’m using windows 8.1 and windows 10. Would the lastest security updates and explorer updates for both window version break the player add-on in any version of IE 11?
I currently have an issue where the player add-in is installed in the IE add-ons but IE still wants to install it. It thinks it’s not there or can find it. Tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but with no luck. IE still can’t find it in the add-ons. It was working for both IE versions last week and both window versions. Is there some setting or settings in windows or IE I most activate or deactivate. Depending what version of IE I have use different versions of the WebPlayer from 5.3.5 to the lastest. They have all stopped working. All I get now is the install plugin when I try to open anything that has to use The WebPlayer. Can anyone help me please? George
Another Question So will WebGl work on windows 8.1 and IE 11.0.120 or 130? Or only windows 10?
