WebPlayerFull.exe is not FULL anymore! Where can I get it! 12-4-2012

We are running Unity code on our INTRANET and our users dont’ have access to the INTERNET, so we must push out the Engine when we update our Editors. We are looking to move up to 3.5.6 but cant’ fine the webplayerfull.exe for 3.5.6.

The link downloads a file, but its not the FULL version, (ie no engine) The full file was almost 4Mb, the one that downloads now is only 623Kb. !

Anyone have any clues to help us. Luckily I downloaded the 3.5.5 full version a few months back, so at least I have that.

I would love the most current version as we only do this every few months (6 or so!)

HELP : ] please and thank you…

Drum Roll please…

The answer is…

Unity 4.x does not have a full installer. We now license a “closed network edition”. Please discuss your requirements with Davey Jackson.

ahhh, so DEMOCRATIZING at a price… : ]
(I actually agree!)

Thanks for updating the thread!

Had the exact same problem yesterday, my client wanted a standalone offline webplayer and I thought it was a no-brainer…

Oh boy was I wrong. Thank god for unity exporting binaries…

I got this problem now, my customer want offline webplayer, because their networking could not connect to Internet.

:rage:
I hope Unity team fix this problem early!

There’s nothing to fix. It’s a condition of use that the webplayer is installed from our website, so people will be online. See my post from a couple of minutes ago for the details - http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/159302-Webplayer-offline-builds. If your customer wants offline deployment, talk with Davey in our sales team who will sort you out.

Or just convince your client of using a standalone version for pc or mac.

Thanks, I will talk with Davey.

Now I have to re-create project in low version (Unity 3.5.0), all of the materials were lost and UV was mistake.
It’s very hard for me.

Thanks.
