We want to make sure that we are providing a productive, intuitive, and hopefully pleasant experience each time a user interacts with a Unity product (including our various websites) regardless of their experience level and needs.
What’s included with the upcoming updates?
One area that we’re focusing on on the web team is the product discovery and download journey. Simplifications are being made to reduce the amount of marketing-heavy content so free users and individuals looking for specific editions of a software can easily find and download the files they need, and professionals who need to purchase a tool or service have the information they need to make that decision.
We’d like your feedback to understand whether the information that we are planning to include on these pages is the right information, if anything is missing, and if it is organized in a way that is intuitive.
We are looking to have one round of interviews on the 7th, and a second on the 16th after we’ve had a chance to incorporate the feedback from the first round.
In these sessions we would review a prototype and discuss…
- usability
- developer needs
- balancing informational (non-paid user) and transactional (paid user) content
- other thoughts and suggestions
