I just create a new project and see this weird icon like thing. No matter how I do, I still cannot get rid of that weird icon. Is this a bug or a new feature?
Oh man, I’ve been seeing that for quite a while now too.
You can even click it and it’ll change color.
It also changes size and gets huge sometimes!
I have a very similar looking thing outside of the editor window on a fixed position on the desktop. Get’s focus/blue when clicked and vanishes when closing Unity.
We added a fix for this issue in b10 but it might require a layout reset to take effect in your project. Could you please try to reset your layout and see if this resolves it?
