Weird Rendering Unity5

After baking, lights turned off, as I advance the camera all is well, rich dark rendering.
Then I advance some more and WHAM … everything is washed out a little.
This effect will go on and off in a couple of different regions in the environment.

Thoughts … this is really baffling … please see images attached …

Just reset from Deffered to Forward rendering on the camera.
No more dark rich effect, only the lighter washed look but it is not shifting now between the two
as I navigate through the environment.
