Weird Unity mesh problem!

Hi, I’m building a racing track and somethings just gone really annoyingly wrong. Firstly nothing snaps properly, I’m using grid 512x512 32 in maya.

If you look at the picture below theres loads of objects just dotted around. These pieces of track were actually connected (poorly) I went back into maya and edited the UV maps of the objects just automatic mapped it quickly and now they’ve moved positions!! I didnt touch any of the objects pivot points or scale or anything.

Anyone know why this has happened and how can I return it back to normal and how to you keep everything snapping to scale in unity!

I’m not a Maya user, but presumably there is something like a ‘freeze’ command on your meshes.

If you haven’t done so, before saving your scene / exporting it, do that.

Then, delete the mesh or prefab with your track that you are current showing and re-add the object to the scene.

Before you export it, in Maya make sure you center the pivot, delete history and freeze transformations.
