We have finally got the ships to the point players can kill other players. However we have not put any ship penalties in for damaged ships or for killing new players and killing players around the main station. We even decided to sweeten the deal! For a short time only for every player you kill you will get 500 credits in game. This is the opportunity to line your bank account before we start dropping in the new ships and other in game items that you may want! So grab a friend and see how many times you can blow there ship up, or just wait in ambush for anyone joining the game… Just remember we are in early alpha…
Bad news is right now this is only available with Facebook (until we get the web accounts working)…
If you could see to like the page that would be helpful to…
Well we made our first in game video! We are still getting the game mechanics down, and a lot of this is prof of concept. Everything you see is live and networked and playable on our facebook community page!
like the nic… I have the domain trollthis.com just have not done anything with it yet.
Video? We do not need no stinking video! Just kidding. We will have one as soon as we get more in the game. But you also have to know we are doing things a little different too. We are not waiting till the game is done to let people play. Our servers are on line, connected, and LIVE! As of today 9/25/2013 our only portal is facebook. The code is changing to fast right now to have a PC or Mac build (or other hardware platforms), soon we plan on having a web build. Our front end/server code is set up that we can just about connect any type of account to it. It was very important to us to get the game live as early in the development as we could so players “you” could give us your input and be apart of the development. Facebook was just the fastest right now.
No we do not have a video as of yet but then we do not have a lot of the front end of the game in yet. This post is a little deceiving, we spent just about a year on the back end and just now we are starting to work on the front end. The server side is made so we can run it on one computer or 1,000 and share the load to all of them (we all ready have the servers too). If you want to see more screen shoots and info go to Redirecting.... Tectuma.com has some info but our web dev is going to be redoing the site and adding account setup there so you will not need facebook once that is done. For now we been keeping the facebook page updated with the most current stuff.
FYI – This Friday 9/27/2013 at 8:00pm EST the Tectuma group will be on line for a space battle if you want to join in (The play button is on the facebook community page.
