Questions:
- Is it better to have clothing sync with the Character’s body shape via Blendshape or Adjustment Bones attached to the Character? (From checking out UMA, it seems that everything is done via Bones instead of Blendshapes) Is this the best practice?
- Is it less tedious to have the Character’s Face be animated via Bones or Blendshapes? From what I’ve read so far, Blendshapes are non-transferrable so for each Character I would have to create up to 52 blendshapes to control the Face expressions. Sounds quite tedious already. Bones seems to be transferrable, and multiple human characters can share the same rig unlike Blendshapes. (Correct me if I’m wrong)
Kindly advice thank you. A list for each aspect (e.g Face, Body, Scale, Facial Aesthetic tweaks), whether or not to use bones or blendshapes, will be great as well!
