What are the package dependencies for Unity Linux Player?

Our team want to build an arcade-style machine using Unity and Linux as the deployment platform. We have been working on Unity for some time and we are really interested on the Linux deployment feature since version 4.0.

What are the additional package dependencies that are needed if we would like to deploy our application to a Ubuntu 12.10 Server?

What we would like to achieve is basically to have a minimalist Ubuntu environment (that’s why we’re thinking of Ubuntu 12.10 Server) plus only the packages required to run Unity games on it, without the desktop environment. The unity app will be executed automatically after boot.

Does anybody have any experience on this?

Would this application store files for the Unity Web Player? If yes, then nothing is really required as it is the web client's job to use the files. Or is this for an API?

I don’t have any experience with that but you can just ldd a Unity Linux build to see its dependencies.
