what control scheme do you like in your games

do you like it to be purely mouse controls purely keyboard or a hybrid of the two? i personally like hybrid and purely keyboard(except in turn based in turn based i prefer mouse only)

It depends on the game. I only like using the mouse in FPS games. But I don’t like to ONLY use the mouse.

No joystick/gamepad option?

If fact, it depends on the type of game.

FPS: Mouse+keyboard
Flight: Joystick/gamepad (+keyboard for simulation)
Platformer: Joystick/gamepad
Driving: Joystick/gamepad
RTS: Mouse+keyboard shortcut

actually i put an other option for joystick gamepad and 360 controller etc. but it didint show up…

I don’t use mice for anything and the keyboard is too boring to be a good gaming device. I don’t think that a computer is a good device for gaming, but when I play the few games I do play on a computer, it’s stylus all the way.

I guess I like keyboard arrows mostly, maybe with an extra key or two to do stuff, but the keys must be not be silly obscure choices in awkward places on the keyboard. I never really liked asdw.

Beyond what keys you actually press, how it translates to interactivity within the game is just as important, and for me, if there is any kind of jumping, particularly in platform games, it has to be done just right otherwise it makes the whole game seem wrong.

Well my favorite genre is FPS so my favorite control scheme is classic WSAD and mouse.

P.S. I’m a mac user. But I kick ass in any pc fps.

Well I used to own a decent PC. I had to sell it when I was moving to USA. Then I got a mac and I’m pretty happy with it. Still can play some games on bootcamp.

Also don’t forget about Steam on mac.

Macs can’t but I can. lol

im gonna walk into my local gamestop and pickup a game for my mac…

yeah that doesnt work out so well
