Do the shadows look pixelated in your browser?
And what options can I use to improve them in WebGL?

Try Unity 5.3, that adds smooth shadow support in WebGL (in 5.2, it only works in deferred rendering mode).
Looking forward to 5.3 keep up the great work!
Once VR is out WebGL could become the VR Web technology of the future.
Well WebGL 2.0 with SIMD and WebAssemblies and Threads and a few other bits but it could be the VR Browser tech of the future.
Unless Unity bring out their own VR Browser?!
Just to clear up some wording: WebGL 2.0 is a label for the upcoming graphics capabilties (OpenGL ES 3.0) for WebGL.
All the other items should not be lumped together with this and they have no label that includes all three of them.
And us distributing a VR âbrowserâ would the defeat a very important WebGL feature: You donât have to install anything to run content.
So are Unity going to support WebVR as a WebGL build option?
Technically a browser just lets a user follow links and move around a web-based datascape. So a VR browser would allow users to move around in and between linked VR âworldsâ.
We might at some point, but it is not a priority right now â and the tech still seems very experimental (I was unable to get samples to work on my MacBook Pro using an Oculus DK2 when I tried).
