What do you look for in a UI pack?

I’m making various sets of UI asset skin packs for the unity store. I work in UI professionally and am just looking to expand out.

So I’m wondering what devs would look for when searching for a UI asset skin pack in the store. Do you care about source files? Ability to customize (both in editor and from the source)? Lots of prefabs? a configured .guiskin file? Lots of options or just the base widgets?

I’m really interested in answers from engineer heavy devs who don’t want to deal with UI ins and outs and just something ready out of the box.

If anyone with experience would like to look over the packs I have and could provide feedback, I could PM you with everything in return. I appreciate the help!

No GUISkins. I’d prefer you make it work perfectly in Unity UI than supporting legacy Unity GUI.

Source PSDs are a must.

It’s a big time saver if each image already comes with slicing set up in the import settings.

Please make sure text areas – such as window headings – are big enough to actually fit text. You’d be surprised how many UI packs make text areas too small to actually be useful without modifying the source.

Depending on the style, tintable is also a selling point.
