What exactly is the situation with Support for a Pro License?

In desperation I tried to raise a support ticket for a couple of issues that I suspect for once aren’t me doing it wrong but an actual bug somewhere that needs proper help.
As I knew this would take time it was a last resort after a LOT of trawling of the forums and Answers and Unity Docs.

As I have had a successive Pro Licenses and had received helpful email support in the past I figured it was part of the deal.

This time I’ve just got someone who after several days has written back to say, “Look on the Forum”, “Rebuild your whole Game from scratch in a new project” (which would take weeks) and “contact premium support and ask how much it is”.

This level of support, i.e. none, I can do. Give ME the job.

So, IS there any support available by email if you buy a Pro license these days and get really stuck or has that all gone and if so, couldn’t you make it clear BEFORE purchase?

To my knowledge, it is not mentioned anywhere that you get any kind of support by purchasing a pro license. It seems you were lucky to get support in the past.

It is clearly mentioned that you can get paid support:

I really was then, they were great!!
Looks like I’m screwed then.
$2800 a day a tiny bit over my budget.

Keep in mind that you get really good support here in the forum as well. If no one is able to help you, it is likely that even someone from Unity will help out.

Thanks Dantus, to be honest I’m on the verge of giving up.
Its just such a lot of work, and then stuff that was working fine in a previous version just stops and no way to fix it?
People on the forums are really helpful, but I think one of these problems at least is a bug and that I need someone at Unity to check out.

If you’ve got the answer “rebuild from scratch” and “ask for pro support” then you’ve probably reached apoint that would require a deeper level of support than before. I asume the answers you’ve git before were more in the easy range of the question specrtum but this one concerns you whole project and setup?

So - as Dantus said: Sorry but if you’ve got a really complex question you will probably have to resort to Pro support if you can’t get any help on the forums or answers. That said … what is your problem, actually?

Hi motionblur, no those were the FIRST answers I got without any attempt to address the question.
I have sent to Premium to ask how much it is but I doubt I can afford it.
Hang on it looks like Dantus has fixed it…
