I’m wondering if I should save my models as FBX. files? Should it be fine if I leave it as the blender file? I don’t have any issues and it’s easy to edit the files instead of making it an FBX each time I tweak it. Any thoughts?
Yes, it works fine if you save them as Blender models.
Unity doesn’t really import Blender files, it opens Blender in the background and makes it export to FBX. By saving as Blender rather than FBX you’re not actually changing anything, you’re just using an easier workflow. The only potential drawback is that you need Blender installed for that to work.
