I just wanted to ask the Q. “What if we were the experiment of an alien race?” How would that look in a game?
I would like some ideas.

What would you like to ask the Q? While they don’t experiment on us the Q have been watching. They also did put mankind on trial and we are still being judged from what I’m told.
Sorry, just couldn’t resist with the way the question was worded. In seriousness there are many ways I would imagine you could use this theme/story idea. You could focus on a personal level and perhaps have a 2d or isometric game follow the life of one individual who finds out and is abducted. Or focus on the big picture with a larger game on how the world would respond to knowing that aliens were watching, and that perhaps we weren’t the only species being studied. Just my two cents worth…

That alien race would be like, “WTF, mate?”
What if they made us to be like them to study there own kind. Or study how a different race is made.
Probably just like normal life. Eventually in this game, someone would go on a forum and write:

What if Earth was constructed by a race of hyper-intelligent pan-dimensional beings to calculate the answer to… everything? What would we look like THEN?

It’s been tackled numerous times in fiction.
From games solar winds comes to mind. The basic premise of the game was that an alien super race was putting species in close proximity in space in specially enclosed star systems. Then they would goad them into war with each other.

So the world really is flat & round because we are kept in the bottom of a jar?
You could offer expansions where the inhabitants escape into the jar next to them which is a different world & alien races

Put yourself/mind into the mind of an ant. And look up. And then imagine the humans you see are invisible, but sometimes interact with the world around you.

& never show the player what they look like & have the plot twist when they escape being that they finally see their reflection & the player realises they were an ant for the whole game.

Might just be me, but I’d find the most interesting way to use this idea would be from the view point of the aliens.
Why are you experimenting on another species? What, if anything are you trying to accomplish?

any way I’m work on a game for the Shield tablet were the race of aliens that made use is now trying to destroy us and you find out about the aliens while trying to defend the earth. i will post some pix later.
just search on youtube for aliens on earth and you will find an incredible amount of stuff allready talking about humans being an alien experiment, should be enough to get inspiration from.
I will give it a look.
