What is causing this glitch in the drop down menu?

Is anyone else having this problem? Whenever I go to this menu and mouse over the buttons, they become highlighted, and when I scroll the text smears together. Additionally, random grey squares will frequently appear in the different windows of the editor, and when I click to play the scene the top bar of the editor next to play button glitches out with different shades of gray flashing when any key is pressed. I hope someone else is also experiencing this so that this problem can be fixed.

Do you have Nahimic (an audio software) running in the background? Also, are your drivers updated?
You could also try to disable DX11.

I uninstalled Nahimic and the glitch has cleared up! Thank you so much for your help. Do you know what it is about Nahimic that causes the problem?

It seems it’s not the only audio software causing this issue, for example Sonic Studio does it as well. Not exactly sure why the audio drivers are interfering with the graphics drivers, but this explains what is happening:

Looks like there’s DLL called “NahimicMSIOSD.dll” which hooks into Unity and causes a deadlock. Unity calls SetWindowPos API on the main thread, which is hooked by NahimicMSIOSD.dll. It seems like it enters a critical section and then calls the real SetWindowPos API. That, in turn, calls back to Unity’s WndProc, which asks our render thread to resize the backbuffer and waits until it’s done. Unity’s render thread obliges and resizes the backbuffer, ending the operation with creation of SRV for the backbuffer. That calls into d3d11.dll, which calls another API which is hooked by NahimicMSIOSD.dll. I could not determine what it was, however, once back in NahimicMSIOSD.dll, it tries to enter the same critical section that’s held by Unity’s main thread, since it’s waiting for the render thread to finish. BAM, deadlock!
