I am new and don’t know which onto use
I actually started out with javascript but quickly switched to C#. I love C# and its style. It may seem overwhelming but it really isn’t! Take it one step at a time. It’s really not hard at all.
Cheers!
Happy coding,

Yep C# gets my vote. It’s strict which means as you’re new it’ll throw more errors but believe it or not that’s good. It throws errors because you’re doing something wrong javascript’s more lenient but that can lead to the game not working how you want.
Plus C# has 2 major bonuses in its favor…
- It’s what Unity tutorials use and what Unity recommend.
- It’s faster once compiled
So if starting from scratch definitely go C#, it’s faster, it’s recommended by Unity and both will be hard to learn if just starting programming, so go with the one that Unity themselves recommend.
