Could someone please explain what source code license is? I’m not a programmer but more of an artist. Could somebody tell me briefly what source code license is, what I can do with it if I buy it, how it works?
It is pointless if you are not a programmer. All it does is give you access to the dirty innards of the Unity engine (the source code). Someone would want this if they needed to make a lot of low level modifications to the engine. However, folks like you and me who only dabble with programming will never need to mess with it. In fact, chances are that for most game ideas, you would not need access to the source code.
