Hi everyone, i need an advice very important:
i want to create a big architecture… and i want to finish it early in the simplest way possible, therefore i want to ask what is the best 3D program for create 3D objects, but it should be the easiest. I know Blender, my friends have spoken me of 3Ds Max and i don’t know anyone. Please help me, Thanks
My friend always wants Modo and ZBrush. You can look into those.
But I’d caution against spending much time looking for the “best” or “easiest”. They’re not all that different from each other, and other considerations end up being a lot more important, such as how well they work with the other tools you want to use, or what you can find good tutorials for.
My choice was Blender. It’s free, has a lot of good updates in the last year or 2, and is really powerful now. It works with just about everything I use, including xNormal and Unity and UE4. It’ll output FBXs or OBJs that work in pretty much anything.
Blender (free), Maya (commercial).
You want SketchUp, by far the easiest but it can create weird results if you not careful.
To be honest, most programs are easy for architecture.
You might also like probuilder for unity, let’s you model inside unity.
blender
Blender will do fine. It’s very capable, and it’s free. Your problem is not going to be “which program to use”. Your problem is going to be what skills you have to use any 3D package. If you have the skill, any package will do. If you don’t have the skill, prepare to spend months learning. And for that, just get Blender because it’s free.
Well, lets see,…![]()
To make 3d objects / models, architecture and other stuff,…There are so many options:
Blender
Maya
3dsmax
Softimage XSI
Sculptris
Z Brush
And countless others.
Blender is nice. ![]()
3Dsmax is nice too. ![]()
Everyone here so far, have already put up, some really great choices too.![]()
I have been playing with a 3D Coat trial. I really like it. I am considering buying a license for it. I have Blender and ZBrush at the moment, but ZBrush is sort of bad at hard surface modelling. 3D Coat is much better at that. But also, 3D Coat appears slightly more unstable and resource hungry than ZBrush, so I’m going to balance things and decide if the capabilities are more important than the stability.
im into blender, i started learning it by watching “scifi animator” on youtube… im grateful for his easy to follow videos
