hey guys as some of you know i program in C# instead of java, I found some tools that compiles java into C# and i want to know which software is the best one?
The one between your ears.
Theres pretty much no reason you should be writing code in UnityScript, then converting to C#, as that gives you no benefit whatsoever.
Coding directly in C#, however, has a few benefits.
EDIT: For clarification, are you trying to convert existing US stuff into C# or something else…?
so what gotta learn java now? because my partner keeps saying I should keep learning C#, even though most indies commonly dont use unless they use xna, right?
You should keep learning C#.
I’m not sure why you need this software. Is there some library or other you want to convert to C# or what?
because most popular unity tutorials are writen java. do you a website where I can learn unity by doing fun and intresting projects like 2D games, 3D games, etc. written in c#
JavaScript or actually Unitys Own type of JavaScript is what they are in. Remember there is a Object Oriented Language Called Java that is not related to JavaScript. So saying Java can cause Confusion. Oh and for C# Tutorial Try

I meant Unity’s Java
Unitys Java Is JavaScript. Its the style of JavaScript but with a lot of there own type code. In Unity you can use any of the Three Languages for your game it doesn’t matter which but I prefer C# its much cleaner. I gave a link that has some C# tutorials. Good luck
Gig,
They’re both pretty much the same. Unity java isn’t java. I am slowly but surely getting annoyed with the fact unity even call it Java. I won’t bother ranting about it though.
Just learn unity js. Within an HOUR you’ll see it’s almost identical to C# just less to type and different variable / function declarations.
cool because it’s stupid to only focus on this “so-called” Java-Script, and not to consider other developers(C#, and Boo), so yeah i’ll just do the walker boys tutorials once i hear back from them about the diploma, and other things I asked them about…
