I’m working with someone who is an artist and I want us to be able to share scenes. We’re in the same room and it would be simple enough to just let that person use my computer from time to time. However, sometimes we work at the same times. What would be the best way to share files? I’ve used Dropbox, but it’s not working very well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Generally some kind of version control system is what you need. That would allow each of you to check in changes as you go and you just update accordingly. This asset also came up in the Asset Store and it looks to fit your needs Unity Networked Scene Editor. It is one license per seat so $30 would cover both you and your artist. I can’t speak to the performance of the tool, but based on the videos they posted on YouTube explaining the tool there seems to be a good bit of promise to it.
