In Ori there’s this constant dynamic lighting feel to the scene where light rays travel through the scenes.
I doubt these really are lights since I’ve come to understand that Unity doesn’t allow more than 4 (max 8 lights per sprite renderer prop).
It’s something that seems to fit with almost every environment and is used throughout most of their game. It’s probably something in combination with the bloom effect that gives this nice effect.
How should I go about trying to reproduce this effect?
