i have been working on a project for months now and just started getting this error in the last few days
it comes up in the console at random even when i am not running the program
Request error (error):
UnityEditor.AsyncHTTPClient:smile:one(State, Int32)
how do i get rid of it as sometimes there are hundreds of them
i have loaded past saves of the project and it happens at random on them too when it was not there a few days ago
can anyone help with this, i am not using a network intergration or anything so why http error
thank you
I’m pretty sure i had a similar error but it was just because I wasn’t connected to the internet, when you run your project are you connected to WiFi?
Yep wifi always connected, as i say i have only been getting this over the last few days, never seen it before, not changed anything configuration wise with my pc
As a test I would try disconnecting from the internet and then launching Unity in offline mode. See if you encounter the error. This may be an issue that deserves a bug filed with Unity.
Are you on a VPN? There are several VPN providers which don’t provide network connectivity in a manner which Unity expects, so have known issues. The big providers seem to have their own threads with people complaining about it here.
no vpn, i am using unity 2018.1.6, so this is not a new bug in a new version, i have been using this version since its launch and only started getting the error in the paset few days, i will try the offline test
