What is wrong with this mesh?

Hey everyone,

Have an arms mesh for a FPS. Sometimes, especially when the arms are moving, I get these little pixels that show up (and disappear) between the gloves and the arms. I am not a 3D modeller but I can say that the gloves and arms parts of the mesh can be individually selected inside Unity.
I attached a print screen to show what I mean.
Why does this happen and how can I fix this? (PS - this happens only when there is something in the background, when there isn’t (just the skybox), then it doesn’t happen).

Thanks!!!

Any reason for that? If not, they should be merged for performance reasons if nothing else, and it should also fix that problem.

Thanks for the reply. It is like that so you can customize the character, with different gloves, clothing etc.

try disabling mip maping its probably not the problem but you got to start somewhere.

Are you sure that’s not some kind of psuedo-reflected light due to your environment? In that picture, there are also similar little white pixels on the gunsight and near the stock not only the 2 you circled.

@goat : Don’t think so, when I move around it’s pretty much all around the wrist
@all: Think it’s cuz it’s a border right between the two meshes…

Thanks for the replies everyone!
